George Osborn is the Editor of Video Games Industry Memo, a newsletter dedicated to the intersection between video games, business and politics.

He has worked in the video games industry for nearly 15 years as a journalist, consultant, and as Head of Campaigns and Communications at industry trade association Ukie.

George is the founder of Half-Space Consulting, a strategic consultancy which helps NGOs, regulators, Governments, and businesses to understand the video game sector.

He has provided expert commentary about the games industry for major media outlets such as BBC News, Sky News, Times Radio, The Guardian, The Independent, Politico, The New York Times and Bloomberg.

He is also the author of forthcoming book Power Play: Video Games, Politics, And The Global Battle for Influence, which explores how video games became a channel for political influence.
